Natasha Todorova, born in Vratza in Bulgaria where she graduated Master the “P. Vladigherov ” State Academy of Music in Sofia with M ° Konstanza Vatchkova. She perfected herself with Charlotte Lehmann (lieder repertoire), Anita Cerquetti (at “B. Christoff” Foundation – Bulgarian Academy of Art and Culture in Rome), Anna di Stasio, Marcello Lippi, Enrico Turco, Elisabetta Fiorillo, Virna Sforza, Gabriella Ravazzi, Nazzareno Antinori and with the famous conductor M˚ Maurizio Arena.
She very early began her career at the Varna Opera House in Bulgaria . She played the following roles: Rosina from the opera “Il Barbiere di Siviglia” by G. Rossini, Bastiano from “Bastiano e Bastiana” and Sextus from “La Clemenza di Tito” by Mozart, Orpheus from “Orpheus and Eurydice” by Gluck, “Carmen” by Bizet, Flora from “La Traviata”, Fenena from “Nabucco”, Maddalena from “Rigoletto” by Verdi, Suzuki from “Madama Butterfly” by Puccini, La Contessa from “La Dama di Picche” by P. Tchajkovskij, The Princess of Beljoioso from “Mameli” by Leoncavallo, Santuzza from “Cavalleria rusticana” by Mascagni; Il servo cinese from “Il Mago” by N. Colabianchi.
In 2003 she was awarded a prize in Sabaudia (Italy) with the “Verdi” Prize for young Verdi’s promises.
Recently she won the First Prize on The International Vocal Competition “Premio Boni“ in Brescia (Italy).
Since 2012, having had an important vocal evolution, she is playing roles like Princess de Bouillon from “Adriana Lecauvreur” by Cilea, Eboli from “Don Carlo”, Amneris from “Aida”, Azucena from “Il Trovatore” by G . Verdi.
She sang Amneris and Fenena at the West Norge Opera in Bergen (Norway), at the Ankara Theater in Turkey, at Malmö in Sweden, at the Kentucky Opera (USA), at Hong Kong in Sheung Wan and at bulgerian‘s national theathers in Burgas and Blagoevgrad. Her artistic activity includes moreover, opera and chamber concerts in Italy and abroad.
During the studies she had the opportunity to work with some eminent Bulgerian musicians and lecturers such the conductors Prof. N. Nedialkov, Prof. Ivan Vulpe, Prof. Boris Hintchev; the producers Prof. Svetosar Donev, Prof. Pavel Gerdjikov; the concert pianists Prof. Yovtcho Krushev, Blagovesta Konstantinova and others.
Her repertoire includes alsow : Vivaldi: “Gloria”, “ Beatus Vir” RV 598 ; Bach:“Magnificat”; Pergolesi: “Stabat Mater”; Mozart: “ Requiem”, “SpatzenMesse” ,“Missa brevis in b flat”; Rossini: “Stabat Mater”,“Petite Messe”; Verdi: “Requiem”; J.
